Infrared Remote Control is a tiny application which can control your Infrared and Bluetooth remote controls directly from your computer.
The program is quite useful in the way it can capture Infrared and Bluetooth commands and manage them from its Windows application. The application is capable of controlling up to 10 different devices and includes different plug-ins: Infrared, X10, Bluetooth, IR Dimmer and even a Winamp plug-in. An input and output plugin are required to run the application in monitoring mode. It effectively captures codes and commanded here.
The interface of Infrared Remote Control is pretty basic and isn't very difficult for most users to understand. Start Monitoring and Stop Monitoring is available from the Monitoring context menu.
Overall, Infrared Remote Control is a useful application for people wishing to capture and use remote control codes from Infrared and Bluetooth devices. It is a little bit old, but still useful.

Infrared Remote Manager is provided under a freeware license on Windows from Bluetooth software with no restrictions on usage. Download and installation of this PC software is free and 1.7.0 is the latest version last time we checked.
What version of Windows can Infrared Remote Manager run on?
Infrared Remote Manager can be used on a computer running Windows 11 or Windows 10. Previous versions of the OS shouldn't be a problem with Windows 8 and Windows 7 having been tested. It runs on both 32-bit and 64-bit systems with no dedicated 64-bit download provided.
